Discover a whole new dimension in reversible locking systems with the DOM ix Saturn. The integrated floating disc provides additional copy protection ensuring the highest level of security for large scale projects. 2 keys are provided as standard.

Patented until 2021, the DOM ix Saturn offers lock security class 6 and class 2 bore resistance in accordance with DIN EN1303.

The DOM ix Saturn is available both mastered and non-mastered. In addition, the ix Saturn 2 in 1 option has been developed to offer a unique solution for lost or stolen keys. This provides customers with two locking facilities in one cylinder, in the event that keys are lost or stolen, a second set of keys can be inserted which replace and disable the original keys.

Technical Data

Lock & Key Technology

  • Each side of the lock has 10 sprung, solid locking elements, made of 9 pin tumblers and 1 24 lock authorisation requests per key.
  • Comprises of 18 sectionally graded core and housing pins, as well as  one axially effective locking bar made from stainless steel.
  • The locking bar is activated with up to 3 control pins positioned in the core in interaction with the trough bores in the key.
  • Concave core head as a key inlet guide
  • One-piece cylinder housing made from solid brass, surface treated with several galvanised layers. High protection against corrosion.
  • Version 1: for all kinds of master key systems (C, CMK, MK, GMK).
  • Version 2: as a registered code (2 in 1) or family cylinder (6 keys).
  • Latest high quality key technology. 45° floating ball in the key. Highest protection against copying thanks to a movable locking element in the key.
