ix HT

The ix HT is a 5 pin reversible system patented until 2024. Offering lock security class 6 and class 2 bore resistance in accordance with DIN EN1303, the ix HT is suitable for medium scale projects. 2 keys are provided as standard.

Alongside the ix HT, the dealer profile, DOM IX DAS provides customers with the flexibility to manage their own master key suites and key replacements in house.

Technical Data

Lock & Key Technology

  • Each side of the lock has 5 sprung, solid tumblers, arranged axially
  • Comprises of 10 sectionally arranged core and housing pins.
  • Solid pin tumblers with a minimum diameter of 3mm, made from tempered bronze/steel, hardened and chemically nickel plated.
  • Smallest locking unit across the pin tumblers, solid pin with a minimum height of 0.8mm.
  • Waisted core and housing pins.
  • Up to 12 positively fed, solid revision pins, arranged vertically and horizontally on two levels.
  • One-piece cylinder housing made from solid brass, surface treated with several galvanised layers, high protection against corrosion.
  • Cylinder core made from solid brass, one-piece, with a minimum diameter of 13 mm.
  • Core with horizontal basic profile which protects the sides of the truncated cone pin heads to optimise locking security.
  • Concave core head as an aid to inserting the key.
  • Core head with horizontal groove for positively locked transfer of torque when opening and closing.
  • One-piece locking yoke made from sintered steel.
  • Reversible key made from nickel silver, non-corrosive, with a deep serration set sectionally in the direction of the key channel.
  • Horizontal keyhole.
  • Key with cheek-shaped tip that matches the shape of the truncated cone pin heads.
